"This
year, at our annual conference, The Richard III Foundation, Inc. commissioned
Diana's-Designs to provide the cake for us. Diana had some wonderful ideas
of how the cake could be decorated. When the cake arrived, I was stunned
at how beautiful it was. When I had presented our honorary patron, Robert
Hardy, with an award marking his many accomplishments in film, theatre
and history, Diana wheeled the cake in. It was stunning. I thought we
were at the BAFTA awards as people gasped when they saw it and flashes
from their cameras went off, but the biggest and best reaction came from
Robert himself. He brought a sizeable piece back with him after the conference,
and I along with friends ate it during the week. Diana is a true artist,
and she helped make the day memorable for us, and more importantly for
Robert. I would not hesitate to use her again for our events, and have
plans for another design for our 2011 conference. She is the best!

Just to say the weekend went really well, the weather was kind and my husband was thrilled with the cake, and had lots of comments from the guests. The children could not wait to eat the stones!

Just
wanted to drop you a line to say how surprised and delighted I
was when I saw the cakes. They were both so lovely and so special
with the choice of flowers. I just love the poppies and have saved
them. And the touches with the bees and the star fish were so
special. And the table they were on looked lovely too. Just perfect. Thank
you.
Could
you let the lady who decorated the cakes know how much they
were admired. They tasted lovely too - Mum always comes up trumps
with her cakes.

When my husband surprised me with
a 40th birthday party I was astounded, but then I realised that he had
also organised to have a special cake made for me as well, I was really
blown away!!. As us women know its not really a man thing, but he said
it was so easy because he found out about Di and she took care of all
the details and the design and it was a truly beautiful cake. I was
extremely impressed and would be happy to recommend Di's services to
anybody.

Dianas' cakes are beautifully made, the time effort and talent shows in
the individuality of each cake produced. Everyone being original, unique
and artistic. The taste and texture is always tasty and light
As for her decorative skills they are next to none. Each petal,each leaf,all
hand made and delicately fashioned and painted to a very realistic finish.
Dianas' talents surpass the average cake producer, you will always be
pleased with the finished article.
Don't be afraid to ask her for something that's not on her web page,if
you can imagine it I am sure she can create it.

The flowers that you crafted for the top look so lifelike.

Just
to say Di made my daughter a fantastic 21st birthday cake, and what made
it really fantastic was that everyone could enjoy a piece of the cake,
usually my husband has to just sit and wish he could have a little bit
of the cake, but being a celiac he usually caughn't, Di made the cake
gluten free enabling my husband to enjoy my daughters 21st cake along
with the rest of the party. The cake it's self was just the job, not too
fancy and over the top like a lot of cakes, but just right. Philippa loved
it.
